    Ease of Use

    Rates for this service doubled and they retroactively applied them to people that pre-paid a year??!

    What were the positives?

    It works... usually... sort of....

    Any negatives?

    As others have mentioned, the support is horrible. Expect to wait 2 - 3 business days for a reply. This is completely unacceptable for the amount we pay for this service.

    Now they have doubled their pricing, which makes it pretty expensive for what it is. If they had decent support, it might be worth it, but they don't. What really gets me is that we pre-paid for the year, but now they want to charge us the difference between the current pricing and what we paid for the remainder of the contract. When you pre-pay something for a year, it is for the year. I now realize that they are a horrible company. I cannot wait for us to leave them.

    They will steal your money

    When you aren't able to get this configured their support isn't helpful unless your entire system is using standard cookie cutter settings. Their support plays gotcha games using thier customers credit cards.

    If you stop using this product be sure to cancel your subscription, because if it accidentally renews they will keep your money and you have zero recourse. They tell you to get stuffed and pay more attention to the terms and conditions.

    A must have? Yes. But be prepared....

    It's not feasible to manage a website catalog, eBay catalog, and Amazon catalog these days. M2E Pro is the solution to manage all of these channels on pretty much an automated basis. That in itself is amazing. It is feature rich, you can customize whatever you want, and it works...most of the time.

    That said, this software is resource heavy and can be complex. I've been using it for 2 years and while I have a good handle on it, I occasionally run into issues.

    For example, every time we have to update the software (which is fairly frequent), it crashes our site. It never installs correctly for us through Magento connect, and when installing manually, it usually crashes something. We have to disable the entire extension while we wait for support to fix the issue (I'll get to that later) so eBay and Amazon channels have to be turned off and we lose sales.

    Another example is that we'll notice things stop syncing all of a sudden. Usually, it is a corrupted database table that we have to repair, but support has refused to help us with this issue. They claim that "their software does not contain anything that would crash database tables."'s M2E pro's tables that are crashing, and 2 - we have this software installed on several Magento installations (all different) and it happens on every single one.

    My main gripe is support. There are some amazing extension developers out there who offer fantastic support - always prompt, extremely friendly, and willing to make an effort.

    M2E Pro's support does the minimum possible. Yes, support is there, but be prepared to get frustrated with them and fight them to fix it. They'll tell you issues are related to other extensions and that there is nothing wrong with their software. They'll refer to you to their wiki which contains basic instructions you already knew and passively insult you like you don't know what you are doing. You're pretty much stuck in this case.

    Here's the thing - Magento is complex and the average installation has many extensions installed. Every other developer I have worked with has done their best to figure out conflicts...they genuinely show an effort - not only for our benefit, but to build their own library of potential conflicts. There's that and the fact that I know that some issues are M2E Pro itself and not conflicts...blaming other extensions is just the easy way out.

    Do I still use the software? Yes. But I'm not counting on it anymore and I make sure our website generates the majority of our revenue so that we're not dependent on eBay & Amazon.

    The truth is that this extension has some of the most potential of any extension out there. If someone else was running the support, it could be so much better.

    Great when it work, stuffed when it doesn't.

    Been using M2E for a couple of years, when its installed and working correctly its great however when it doesn't work as it should its hard to get a decent response time on support.

    We pay £220+ a month to use M2E and for that we get pretty terrible support, slow emails (usually 1-3 days to reply to an email) when you have a business critical issue as we currently do and have to disable sales on eBay the support really gets frustrating and slow, a phone number to contact them on wouldn't go a miss.

    Worst Company and program I've dealt with in 15 years

    I had originally posted a negative review and this system will not allow me to completely delete it. After posting the review, I received a call from one of the partners and they would like the chance to correct the problem. Issues happen and it is how we correct them that matters. Therefore I have removed my comments and will update once they complete the project.

    Support Requests over a week wait on numerous occasions

    The code to facilitate passing back of tracking numbers in to Amazon has to be custom coded. M2ePro added this for us but this has caused us several issues on upgrade etc. we currently have ongoing issue which is impacting on our Amazon metrics!!

    Support level we are experiencing is poor. Should be 48 hours - we sometimes have waited two week. yes, two weeks! M2ePrpo Support are extremely helpful WHEN you can get a response. To upgrade to a better support service level is VERY expensive for a small business such as ours, M2ePro need to re think a small business level support category.

    We are currently waiting for support that was requested 19 June:??
